ENGINE WARM
Check that the cable to which 6 is attached is slack. If not, the cold start regulator probably needs to be replaced.
With the engine off:
Press the gas pedal all the way down; 1 should now touch 2. If not; adjust 3.
When the accelerator pedal is not depressed, 1 should touch 5.
With the engine running:
Put 1.5mm between 1 and 5 at b.
Put a 3mm metal rod in a by pulling 9 outwards. Adjust 5 until the idle is at 800 ± 50 rpm.
Remove 1.5mm and the metal rod and adjust 8 until the idle speed is 800 ± 25 rpm.
Accelerate until you reach 3000 rpm and release the gas pedal
suddenly. If the engine tends to switch off when you do this, you must
turn 5 a quarter of a turn outwards. If the engine reduces the speed too slowly,
you must turn 5 a quarter of a turn inwards. (If you have now adjusted 5,
you must check the idle speed again.)
Check that the engine can be stopped with 9.
