Problem
Air from the engine bay is getting into the passenger compartment.

This may be caused by the foam under the bonnet is rotten/broken so that the rubber gasket on the intake tower
does not seal properly. Especially when the cooling fan/fans are running, it can then be pushed air through here.
- Scrape off all the old foam.
- Create a template out of thin cardboard: Take 4 approx 4cm wide strips that you attach
under the hood with tape. Remove the template and reinforce the corners with more tape.
- Use the template and cut out the foam in one piece. The foam should be gray or black.
- Put double sided tape on the foam.
- Install the foam. Or place the foam exactly on top of the rubber seal and put the bonnet gently down.
