Rebuilding the Break to four seats
I use two passenger seats, because there is little wear on them, and I get the same "chassis".
They have the same pattern and color as the other seats in the car (it is serial two seats,
but it will work, I will not be sitting in them anyway;).
Going to be better than the Prestige...;)
Here the frame is finished (seen from the rear). I have used rubber "feet" from the back seat of a Break.
Testing the frame. It is bolted in front with four eight mm bolts into existing bolt holes.
I also plan to use the two bolt holes of the vacant belt fasteners.
Here the frame is mounted to the seats.
Testing the seats in the car. Seems to work fine, very good room for your feet and you sit high so there
is a good view forward. The seat backs can be tilted almost completely backwards. The seat belts are the correct place.
Before it was a struggle to sit up front.
Now it'll probably be quite the reverse. ;)
Here the back seats are finally in place. The frame is attached to the rear with two-point safety belt.
Centre armrest missing yet, but will come soon. (May be some conflict with the adjustment of the seat back on the left seat,
but will see.) Must make more and stronger fasteners for securing items in the trunk, and mount a strong safety net.
And maybe a double floor with retractable drawer containing warning triangle and tools etc.
