Always remove all the snow from the windshield before you start the trip, so the windshield wiper don't have to work extra hard
(as in the image above). If the snow is wet, it will easily pack up along the lower edge of the windshield, so
that the wiper get problems. Then there is nothing else to do than to stop and remove the misery. It is also
possible do wind down the side window and use a brush with a long handle, etc. to remove the snow with
(make sure you keep the car on course while you are doing this). Preferably you should have a 40cm long
wooden handle with a transverse plastic leaf on the end (like a hoe).

• When you stop to remove snow from the windshield you must also remember to
remove snow from the headlights, grill and fresh air intake.
And preferably also from the rear lamps and registration plates.
