PROGRAMME FOR 1939
Four years have elapsed since the front-wheel-drive CITROËN was introduced into this country. Since then,
continuous advancements in constructional details and general refinements have been made, and today it has
attained a perfection of design that puts it far ahead for many years to come. Appreciation of the wonderful safety
and stability of the CITROËN is now widespread. The 1939 models are the consummation of four years of successful
production and offer the motorist a remarkable union of advanced design with established practice.

André Citroën dør 56 år gammel av kreft.
1936
Alle Traction Avant-modellene får forbedret styring.
1937
11 blir døpt om til 11B, og 11 Légère til 11BL.
1939
15-Six, Traction Avant med sekssylindret motor.
7C Eco.
250 prototyper av 2CV blir laget. Men grunnet krigsutbruddet blir visstnok alle bortsett fra
tre ødelagt, for å holde modellen hemmelig.
TUB, varebil som kan frakte 850 kg.
1948
2CV blir endeleg introdusert.
H, varebil som kan frakte 1200 kg.
1949
HZ, varebil som kan frakte 850 kg.
1951
2CV van, varebil som kan frakte 250 kg.
1952
Alle Traction Avant får utvidet bagasjerom.
