Replacing the oil temperature gauge

The oil temperature gauge A/3 can be found below the oil filter, on the left side (driver's side). Unscrewing this is not particularly difficult, but it is a bit tight.

It will be easier to get to if you remove the cooling hose B that goes into the right side of the filter holder (a lot of coolant will flow out). Unscrew the cord. Put on a spanner and give it a hard whack with the back of your hand to loosen the gauge. Unscrew: Be sure to include the copper stop washer.

Here the oil filter has been removed.
