Checking the level

AUTOMATIC

  1. The car must be parked on a level surface.
  2. The engine must be idling (800 rpm), the handbrake must be on and the gear lever must be in P.
  3. Pull up the dipstick and wipe it with a paper.
  4. Carefully put it back and wait a bit.
  5. Pull it up again and read the oil level. It should be between the two measuring lines with a cold engine. With a warm engine, the level may be slightly above the upper line.
  6. If it is too little, you fill in a little, if it is too much, you drain a little.

Check the oil level 5-6 times a year.

Oil change

AUTOMATIC

  1. With warm engine; drain the oil (approx. 2.5 litres).
  2. Remove metal shavings from the bottom plugs, clean them and put them back fitted with new copper stop washers.
  3. Wait until the engine is cold, start it and let it idle (800 rpm). The handbrake must be on and the gear lever must be in P.
  4. Use a funnel and fill in 2 liters of new oil.
  5. Check the level: It should be between the two measuring lines.
