Location:
• The battery is located at the left side of the trunk.

Start help and charging the battery:
• Connect to plus and minus in the engine compartment.

Disconnecting the battery when the car is not to be moved:

• All doors must be open.
• Automatic gearbox: The gear lever must be in the parking position P.
• The parking brake must be activated.

Disconnecting the battery when the car is to be moved:

• All doors must be open.
• The wheels must be secured with stop blocks.
• Automatic gearbox: The gear lever must be in the neutral position N.
• The parking brake must not be activated.

Start help:

1. Connect to plus and plus with the red cord.
2. Connect to minus on the external battery.
3. Connect to minus in the C6 engine compartment.
4. Start the car that delivers power.
5. Start the car that has empty battery.
6. Disconnect the minus in the C6 engine compartment.
7. Disconnect the minus on the external battery.
8. Disconnect the red cord.

After reconnecting the battery:
• Wait at least one minute before turning on the ignition; and then wait at least one minute before starting the car.
• Check that all side windows close completely.
• If you have a sun roof, see the instruction manual.
• Adjust the date, time and outside temperature.
