When you shut the bonnet, you should always drop it, never squeeze it down.

Trigger lever

There is a plastic lever you need to push upwards to get the hood completely up. If this breaks (A), you can take a long screwdriver and bend A upwards. If the wire breaks, you can take a long rod and try to push the opening mechanism (C) to the left.

It is advisable to make an extra opening lever: Drill a hole at the end of a long metal rod (B) and tie it to C. By pushing it, you can now easily open the hood.
